Code Of Conduct

ZERO TOLERANCE

PARENTS CODE OF CONDUCT

DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE REFEREE.

Yelling at, arguing with or intimidating any official is not permitted. If you have a concern about a referee, address it to your child(ren)s coach or the division director. Parents should not address referees except to point out emergencies or safety issues.

SET A GOOD EXAMPLE.

The use of profanity is not allowed. Support all players, including opposing teams. Verbal or physical abuse of any player, coach or official will not be tolerated.

STAY OFF THE PLAYING FIELD.

All parents must remain at least 3 feet behind the sidelines. On all fields, players for both teams should be on one side of the field and spectators of both teams should be on the other side of the field. There shall be no spectators on the teams side of the field or the goal lines.

BE DEPENDABLE.

Have your child(ren) at all practices and games on time. If your child is unable to make a game or practice, please notify your coach. Violations of the code of conduct by any parent can result in the parent being removed from the spectator area. Refusal of any parent to leave the spectator area when so instructed by a referee, director or coach may result in forfeiture of the game and may result in the suspension or expulsion of the parents child(ren) from Middletown Youth Soccer games, practices, and events. In the event of suspension or expulsion, no refunds will be given.

PLAYERS CODE OF CONDUCT

OBEY THE RULES OF THE GAME.

Each player is expected to know the laws of soccer and to obey them.

BEHAVE RESPECTFULLY.

Players should always treat coaches, referees, teammates and opponents in a respectful manner.

PLAY HARD, PLAY FAIR, PLAY SAFE AND HAVE FUN.

Violations of any rules of the Code by any player may result in the player being suspended or expelled from Middletown Youth Soccer, Inc. In the event of suspension or expulsion, no refunds will be given.
